For pomace and harvest grapes pumps, it is compulsory to provide a device for protecting from the Archimedes screw, which is a source of very serious industrial accidents.

This recovering hopper, with belt conveyor and without visible screw, is the only one on the market to be fully compliant with the regulation law.

It is equipped with well known "Egretier" volumetric pump, and may be placed under a grape stemmer, to convey the grape harvest, or out of tank to transfer the pomace without crushing it.
