Must Extraction on Piping
PRINCIPLE
Use the pressure of the grape harvest in the piping, to take a sample o filtered must in a sealed closed circuit.
DESCRIPTION
The EGRETIER Must Extractor, located at the outlet of the grape harvesting pump, consists of simple and robust components.
Inside a sealed bell is fixed a filtering grid between two rotating motorized knives, whose role is to permanently unclog it.
The output of the must is about 1.5 per tonne of harvest.
OPERATION
The blades are operated at the same time as the pump, and the grill continuously recovers a fraction of the juice passing in front of it. The juice under pressure rises to the wort terminal, located near the desk, where it is stored, pending measurement.
After emptying, it is always possible to take a sample from the harvest, remaining in the piping, restarting the rotation of the knives from the must extractor.
The gap between premeasurement and final measurement is very low, less than 1/10 degree. Some users only use premeasurement, both for selecting and issuing the ticket.
ADVANTAGES
- The sample is rigorously representative of the contribution of the harvest
- The speed of passage of the liquid under pressure in the nylon tube of 6 mm diameter prevents any clogging and deposition on the walls,
- The sampling of the juice is carried out in a sealed closed circuit,
- The installation is clean and easy to maintain,
- This device allows timed pumping selection, which represents a significant saving in pipe material and time.
The "EGRETIER" MUST EXTRACTOR can be combined with the Refractometer
MICROREF through the MUST TERMINAL.
The set then constitutes a complete and autonomous measurement system.
